Job summary

Legends is seeking a Line Cook to deliver quick, high-quality service in a fine dining setting. You will follow lead chefs' directions, prepare portions to spec, and ensure food safety and sanitation across all kitchen areas.

Candidates should have culinary training or equivalent fast-paced experience, be able to multitask, and communicate in English. Physical mobility and availability for event hours are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Culinary education or fast-paced high-volume fine dining experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with coworkers to ensure service standards.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Must read, speak and write in English.
• Lift up to 30 pounds; occasionally 50 pounds.
• Able to work all Prudential Center events, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Mobility for production tasks including bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training preferred.
• Minimum three years in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Follow opening and closing procedures and food preparation as directed by supervisors.
• Prepare food items according to portion size and quality standards.
• Maintain proper food temperatures.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards in all work areas.
• Keep kitchen clean including shelves, walls, floors and drains.
• Be a team player delivering excellent service and product.
• Maintain sanitation of dining and cooking utensils and cookware.
• Handle and clean kitchen equipment safely to prevent damage or injury.
• Adhere to appearance and uniform guidelines.
