Fine Dining Restaurant General Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Fine Dining Restaurant General Manager to lead all aspects of our restaurant’s operations. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional, highly personalized guest experiences that reflect our luxury brand standards, while driving strong financial performance and cultivating a positive, high‑performing team culture.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with a deep understanding of fine dining service, wine, and hospitality excellence, combined with strong business and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience & Service Excellence
    • Set, maintain, and continuously elevate ultra‑high standards for service, ambiance, and guest engagement.
    • Create personalized dining experiences, manage VIP guests, and resolve complex guest concerns with professionalism and discretion.
    • Oversee all Front of House operations, ensuring a seamless and refined guest experience from arrival through departure.
    • Develop, manage, and analyze budgets, P&L statements, sales forecasts, and inventory controls.
    • Implement strategies to control costs, increase revenue, and consistently meet or exceed financial goals.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, coach, and lead all Front and Back of House staff.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
    • Lead by example to inspire high performance and exceptional service standards.
  • Operations & Quality Control
    • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, health, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef on menu execution, presentation, and wine pairings.
    • Manage vendor relationships and oversee purchasing to maintain quality, consistency, and cost control.
  • Marketing & Brand Support
    • Support and execute marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and elevate the restaurant’s profile.
    • Act as a brand ambassador, both on‑site and within the community.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and cost‑control experience.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • In‑depth knowledge of fine cuisine, wine, and luxury service standards.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
