The role requires 3+ years as a true fine dining GM, strong guest service, and superb communication. The GM will work closely with the Executive Chef on menu planning and cost control, while maintaining strict hospitality standards.

Qualifications

General Manager - Fine Dining Restaurant

Our client is seeking an accomplished General Manager to oversee a high-volume fine dining operation. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who can balance the demands of a sophisticated restaurant environment with a strong commitment to both the guest experience and team success.

Qualifications/Responsibilities

• 3+ years’ experience as a true fine dining restaurant General Manager preferably in diverse restaurant operations
• Greet guests, process checks, investigate and resolve guest complaints
• Interact with guests in a genuine and friendly manner to establish a personal, professional rapport
• Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Disciplined and firm about standards of performance, yet fair and personable in developing employees
• Interview, hire, train, schedule and develop front of the house (FOH) managers and employees
• Complete performance reviews for dining room managers and employees and assign developmental goals based on observation of the employee’s performance
• Conduct daily menu classes and weekly management meetings
• Develop and manage annual financial plan for restaurant
• Direct employees in safety and health prevention measures
• Lead and manage monthly inventory
• Work closely with the Executive Chef in menu planning and cost control
