Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead customer interactions and ensure regulatory excellence across Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store brands in the district. You will serve as a front-line brand ambassador, delivering outstanding service and guiding teams to meet company standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy in transactions, adherence to policies, and proactive problem resolution while supporting store operations and banking tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience is required.
• 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, and/or cash handling is preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work autonomously.
• Must have own reliable transportation and valid driver's license and insurance.
• Commitment to values of accountability, inclusivity, transparency, and focus.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on product portfolio and present options that meet needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager, DDO, or corporate office if unresolved.
• Answer telephone inquiries and assist with applications, requests, or issues.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations and procedures.
• Explain solutions professionally and ensure customers feel supported and valued.
• Use active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle cash, balance drawer, deposits, and related cash handling tasks.
• Balance batch receipts with end-of-day sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Verify customer information during transactions.
• Process loans, check cashing, and Net Spend transactions per policy.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
