Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and prepare financial statements.
• Oversee accounting for the company’s customer loan portfolio.
• Manage treasury, cash forecasting, liquidity, and banking relationships.
• Establish accounting policies, internal controls, and scalable financial processes.
• Support budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Participate in the implementation of accounting, financial, and loan‑servicing systems.

Busy Season Staffing Solutions is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a newly established, well-capitalized sales and consumer financing company in San Juan.

The opportunity

Lead the company’s financial operations and help build its finance function from the ground up. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting, treasury, loan accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and a team of two.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone equally comfortable reviewing a reconciliation, investigating a cash discrepancy, or analyzing a loan portfolio report.

What you’ll do

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and prepare financial statements
