The Bolton Group is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee accounting and finance operations, including reporting, cash flow, month-end close, project financials, and strategy. You will lead four Controllers, partner with the CFO during a transition, and drive financial performance across active construction projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting/finance, strong project-based management, and expertise in job costing, WIP, and profitability.

Formación

• Construction industry experience is required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Strong experience with project-based financial management.
• Experience with job costing, WIP, project profitability, and cash flow management.
• Spanish/English bilingual proficiency strongly preferred.
• CPA, MBA, or other advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounting and finance functions, including four Controllers.
• Partner with the current CFO during a planned transition into the CFO role.
• Take ownership of month-end close and consolidated financial reporting.
• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and forecasting.
• Provide financial oversight of active construction projects and project profitability.
• Review project financials, job costing, WIP, and overall project performance.
• Develop and present financial strategy and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and controls.
• Support banking, insurance, audit, and other external financial relationships.
• Partner with operational and project leadership to drive financial performance.
• Develop and mentor the accounting team through a collaborative, servant-leadership approach.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting and finance operations, including financial reporting, cash flow management, month-end close, project financials, and overall financial strategy. The candidate will lead a team of four Controllers and should have a strong background in construction finance, project-based accounting, and team leadership. Spanish/English bilingual proficiency is strongly preferred.

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Strong experience with project-based financial management
• Experience with job costing, WIP, project profitability, and cash flow management
• Strong financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Spanish/English bilingual proficiency strongly preferred
• CPA, MBA, or other advanced degree preferred but not required
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office / 2 days remote after initial onboarding
