Dental Benefits Coordinator | Full-Time | Remote - Treasure Valley

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and someone who enjoys making sure all the pieces are in place behind the scenes?

We're looking for an experienced Benefits Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you’ll help ensure our patients’ dental insurance benefits are accurately verified and documented so our clinical and administrative teams have the information they need to provide a great patient experience.

This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work remotely for candidates located within the Treasure Valley area.

What You’ll Do:

As our Benefits Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in supporting our practices and patients by:

• Verifying dental insurance eligibility and benefits
• Accurately entering and updating insurance information in patient accounts
• Utilizing insurance payer websites to research and confirm benefit information
• Uploading completed insurance documentation into electronic patient files
• Reviewing and interpreting dental CDT codes and EOBs
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient account notes
• Working within dental practice management software, including Cloud 9 and Denticon
• Collaborating with team members to help keep insurance processes running smoothly
• Protecting patient information and following all HIPAA confidentiality requirements

What We’re Looking For:

We’d love to meet someone who is:

• Experienced with dental insurance, with at least 1 year of previous dental insurance experience preferred
• Familiar with dental CDT codes and EOBs
• Coming from a medical billing background? We'll consider that experience as well
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems, payer portals, and practice management software
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Highly organized and attentive to detail
• Proactive and comfortable taking initiative
• A quick learner and self-starter
• Friendly, dependable, and a collaborative team player
• A strong communicator with a positive attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED required

Work Location

Remote flexibility is available for candidates located within the Treasure Valley area.
