This full-time role supports practices and patients by verifying eligibility, entering data in patient accounts, using payer portals, and handling CDT codes and EOBs while upholding HIPAA confidentiality; remote work is available for Treasure Valley candidates.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of dental insurance experience preferred.
• Familiar with CDT codes and EOBs.
• Medical billing background welcomed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Enter and update insurance information in patient accounts.
• Use payer portals to research and confirm benefits.
• Upload completed insurance documents to patient files.
• Review CDT codes and EOBs and maintain notes.
• Work with Cloud 9 and Denticon Practice Management.
• Protect patient information following HIPAA requirements.
