Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Finance Analyst to lead day-to-day SOW and deliverables for the KC-46 Tankers FA Defense program. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, and to develop, review, and maintain cost/schedule baselines.

You will perform EVM/EAC analyses, create performance reports for senior management, and mentor junior analysts while driving process improvements across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in a business-related function with finance focus.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts, and data linking.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Estimates at Completion (EAC).
• Experience handling large Excel datasets.
• U.S. Person required; no visa sponsorship.
• Leadership experience leading projects or teams.
• Preferred: 5+ years of related work or equivalent.
• Preferred: Experience with BEST Planner or CSPR.
• Preferred: Multi-project management capabilities.
• Preferred: Financial modeling and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Job description

• Lead day-to-day statement of work and deliverables for the KC-46 Tankers FA Defense program team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support strategic business decisions
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance metrics
• Contribute to financial models and forecasts
• Engage in cost analysis and optimization efforts
• Manage statement of work assignments
• Integrate resource forecasts, Estimates at Completion, control accounts, budgets, functions, and pools
• Develop, review, analyze, and maintain cost and schedule performance measurement baselines
• Support earned value management practices, variance analyses, and communication of cost and schedule trends
• Develop performance reports and communicate operational and financial performance to senior management
• Make recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections
• Train and mentor junior analysts
• Support process improvement initiatives and represent finance in cross-business and Center of Expertise engagements
• Analyze key performance indicators to improve process cycle time, quality, and timeliness
• Complete peer reviews
• Serve as a change agent

Requirements

• Currently have a Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience in a business-related function
• 3+ years of work experience with Microsoft Excel using formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Experience performing Estimates at Completion (EAC)
• Experience working with large data sets in Excel
• U.S. Person required for U.S. export control compliance

• Lead requires prior project or team leadership experience
• Preferred: 5 or more years’ related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Preferred: Microsoft Office experience for financial modeling and analysis
