Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Financial Analyst for a government contract in Colorado. You will support the Business Manager with contract financials, EVMS reporting, EACs, and long-range planning, while coordinating with the prime Government customer and internal teams.

Job description

• Support the Business Manager in overseeing business and financial responsibilities for the Resilient Missile Warning and Tracking Epoch 2 Vendor 2 (E2V2) contract
• Participate in program start-up activities and partner with a prime Government customer
• Generate work products for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial routines
• Perform Earned Value reporting
• Support Baseline Planning and Development
• Prepare Estimates at Completion (EACs)
• Develop risks and opportunities
• Perform financial forecasting
• Support Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP), and 5-year strategic planning
• Participate in customer meetings and internal executive-level meetings
• Support proposal development, including BOE reviews, chart preparation, cost volume development, manpower planning, and contract negotiation preparation
• Work as an individual contributor without employee management responsibilities

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
• Experience consolidating and analyzing large financial data sets
• Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, or similar systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools
• Financial experience in the aerospace/defense industry preferred
• Prior program experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) preferred
• EVMS certification or equivalent Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred
• Prior program experience with Estimates at Completion (EAC) preferred
• Proficiency using SAP/APEX/PRISM/MRP/RPLAN/BW preferred
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• U.S. citizenship is required
