Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Program Finance Manager to oversee the Resilient Missile Warning and Tracking Epoch 2 Vendor 2 contract. You will lead financial planning, EVMS reporting, and final cost analyses while coordinating with a government customer and internal leadership.

Responsibilities include EAC development, baseline planning, forecasting, and risk/opportunity management, plus staff development of 1–2 analysts in a fast‑paced aerospace environment.

Job description

• Oversee all business and financial responsibilities for the Resilient Missile Warning and Tracking Epoch 2 Vendor 2 (E2V2) contract
• Support program start-up activities and partner directly with a prime Government customer
• Lead weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial routines
• Perform Earned Value reporting
• Develop baseline planning and development
• Prepare Estimates at Completion (EACs)
• Develop risks and opportunities
• Conduct financial forecasting
• Prepare Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP), and five-year strategic planning
• Support customer meetings and internal executive-level meetings
• Engage in proposal development, including Basis of Estimates (BOEs), chart preparation, cost volume development, manpower planning, and contract negotiation preparation
• Manage a staff of 1-2 analysts
• Develop future leaders by engaging and supporting them through program financial responsibilities

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
• Experience consolidating and analyzing large financial data sets
• Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, or similar systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to be proactive, creative, innovative, and use critical and strategic thinking
• Managerial experience preferred
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools
• Ability to independently create and accurately analyze financial data
• Financial experience in the aerospace/defense industry preferred
• Prior program experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) preferred
• EVMS certification or equivalent Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred
• Prior program experience with Estimates at Completion (EAC), including cost, variance, risk, and opportunity analysis preferred
• Proficiency using SAP/APEX/PRISM/MRP/RPLAN/BW preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to partner with functional leads and program managers to offer solutions and make quick informed business decisions
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, including setting priorities and working within deadlines
