Job summary

Jobtailor in California seeks a finance professional to lead cost management, forecasting, and earned value activities across multiple Integrated Product Teams.Responsibilities include EAC development, variance analyses, and presenting financial risks to executives.

Requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 3+ years in finance roles, with Excel expertise and the ability to obtain U.S. security clearance. Onsite role in Seal Beach, CA with no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a Finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA).
• 3+ years of work experience with Microsoft Excel using formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets.
• Ability to satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
• U.S. Person required to meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Pre-Start required.
• Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Support Non-Labor, Material cost accounts for Platform and other Integrated Product Teams with material statements of work.
• Partner with assigned IPTs to reconcile cost accounts monthly and quarterly, including new contract modification baselines.
• Communicate and present financial information to executive leadership.
• Lead discussions and provide recommendations regarding financial risks, opportunities, and issues.
• Develop resource forecasts and Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions, pools, contracts, and programs.
• Analyze resource forecasts, control account EACs, and financial EACs.
• Compile data from multiple sources and develop performance reports.
• Initiate variance analyses and explain operational and financial performance to management.
• Recommend financial performance projections to management.
• Develop, review, analyze, and maintain cost and schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value.
• Communicate cost and schedule trends.
• Potentially administer COBRA or Earned Value Management software and work independently without onsite management support.
