Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Regional Accounting Manager in month-end close, forecasting, and reporting. You will collaborate across Accounting, Operations, and Corporate teams and prepare concise narratives for leadership.

This office-based role may require travel to various facilities including Sumter, SC and other locations. The position emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls while contributing to cross-functional initiatives and process

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a financial analyst, accounting, or related role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate and consolidate weekly financial estimates and narratives for unit reporting.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly financial performance reports.
• Develop ad hoc analyses and reports for leadership.
• Assist in monthly journal entries and review of financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly reviews.
• Gather KPI data and develop financial presentations for management.
