Pilgrim’s seeks a Financial Analyst to support the Regional Accounting Manager in month-end close, budgeting, and financial analysis across multiple facilities. This role partners with Accounting, Operations, and Corporate teams to deliver accurate reporting and timely insights.

Located at Pilgrim’s facilities including Douglas, GA, this position entails data analysis, KPI reporting, journal entries, and cross-functional initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a financial analyst, accounting, or related role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Basic understanding of SOX and internal controls requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including modeling and pivot tables.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate and consolidate weekly financial estimates and supporting narratives for business unit reporting.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly financial performance reports.
• Develop and complete ad hoc financial analyses for leadership.
• Assist in the preparation and posting of monthly journal entries.
• Review financial reports for accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate collection and organization of information for quarterly reviews.
• Support monthly budgeting, forecasting, and financial review processes.
• Gather KPI data and develop financial presentations for management.
• Assist in annual operating budget preparation.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.
