Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Regional Accounting Manager with month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis. You will collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Corporate teams across multiple facilities, including Mt.

Pleasant, TX, and other sites. The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, accuracy in reporting, and adherence to internal controls under GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Basic understanding of SOX and internal control requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills including modeling, pivots, and data analysis.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Coordinate and consolidate weekly financial estimates and narratives for unit reporting.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly financial performance reports.
• Assist in monthly journal entries and review of financial reports for accuracy.
