Pilgrim’s is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Regional Accounting Manager with month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. You will coordinate weekly estimates, prepare narratives, and support cross-functional initiatives with Accounting, Operations, and Corporate teams across multiple facilities.

The role emphasizes GAAP and SOX compliance and requires advanced Excel skills. You will collaborate with leaders to drive financial efficiency and performance while staying

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate and consolidate weekly financial estimates and supporting narratives for business unit reporting.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly financial performance reports.
• Develop ad hoc financial analyses and reports for leadership.
• Assist in the preparation and posting of monthly journal entries.
• Review financial reports for accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate information for quarterly operational reviews.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial review processes.
• Gather KPI data and develop financial presentations for management review.
• Assist in the annual operating budget analysis.
