Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Regional Accounting Manager with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple facilities, including Mt. Pleasant, TX.

The role requires collaborating with Accounting, Operations, and Corporate teams and contributing to cross-functional initiatives. You will analyze financial and operational data, consolidate weekly estimates, prepare KPI-based presentations, and ensure timely, accurate reporting while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field required.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting practices.
• Basic understanding of SOX and internal control requirements.
• Advanced Excel, including modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate and consolidate weekly financial estimates and narratives for unit reporting.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly financial performance reports.
• Develop ad hoc financial analyses and reports as requested by leadership.
• Assist in preparation and posting monthly journal entries.
• Review financial reports for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Coordinate information for quarterly operational reviews.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial review processes.
• Gather KPI data and develop financial presentations for management review.
• Assist in annual operating budget preparation.
