Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager for Private Equity Performance Improvement – CFO Services to lead complex finance transformation engagements and partner with CFOs to optimize operating models and reporting. The role emphasizes practical execution, cross-functional leadership, and deep experience with finance processes and automation.

You will drive engagement delivery, develop client-ready analyses and roadmaps, and mentor teams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in consulting or industry finance transformation.
• Strong knowledge of R2R, O2C, P2P, FP&A and finance processes.
• Experience leading large engagements and teams with CFO stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams focused on improving finance function performance and driving operational efficiency.
• Assess and design future-state finance operating models, organizational structures, and transformation initiatives.
• Develop transformation roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans.
• Manage engagement execution, deliverable quality, timelines, and team coordination.
• Build and maintain relationships with CFOs and senior client stakeholders.
