Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director in the Private Equity Performance Improvement group to lead Finance Transformation initiatives for portfolio companies. You will guide engagements, shape operating models, and drive automation and improved reporting across CFO services and finance functions.

The role emphasizes senior client leadership, engagement management, and developing our people while delivering tangible performance improvements for private equity portfolios.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience with Finance Transformation.
• Strong experience in finance operating models, design, and optimization.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and related workstreams to improve finance function performance and reduce costs.
• Assess current finance structures, processes, and operating models to identify opportunities.
• Design and implement future-state finance operating models and transformation roadmaps.
• Drive automation, digitization, and improved management reporting in finance.
• Develop business cases, roadmaps, and implementation plans for clients.
• Lead engagement teams, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
