Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director-level professional to leadPrivate Equity Performance Improvement engagements within CFO Services and Finance Transformation. You will guide complex programs, develop transformation roadmaps, and drive measurable improvements in finance operating models and reporting.

You will work with senior finance leaders to optimize processes, implement automation, and deliver actionable outcomes while mentoring teams and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• 9-11+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience, including significant experience in Finance Transformation.
• Strong ability to lead engagement workstreams and manage client relationships.
• Experience developing financial analyses, business cases, transformation roadmaps, and executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams focused on improving finance function performance, reducing costs, enhancing service delivery, and driving operational efficiency.
• Assess current-state finance organizations, processes, systems, and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement future-state finance operating models, organizational structures, and transformation initiatives.
• Lead initiatives involving finance process optimization, automation, digitization, financial close improvement, and management reporting enhancement.
• Develop actionable transformation roadmaps, business cases, financial analyses, and implementation plans.
• Lead GBS, Shared Services, and BPO initiatives, including feasibility assessments, operating model design, implementation, and optimization.
• Develop high-quality client deliverables, facilitate alignment with senior stakeholders, and drive adoption of recommended solutions.
• Manage engagement execution, deliverable quality, project timelines, and workstream coordination.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with CFOs, finance executives, and other senior client stakeholders.
• Support business development activities, including proposal development, sales pursuits, and identification of new client opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, intellectual capital, and market-facing materials.
• Lead, coach, and develop consulting teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high-quality execution.
• Provide guidance and oversight to team members while supporting their professional development.
