Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager for Private Equity Performance Improvement – CFO Services, Finance Transformation, to lead complex finance transformation engagements for PE clients. You will partner with CFOs and finance leadership to design future-state operating models, optimize processes, and deliver sustainable improvements across portfolios.

Qualifications

• 9-11+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience, including significant experience in Finance Transformation.
• Strong understanding of core finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, FP&A).
• Experience developing financial analyses, business cases, transformation roadmaps, and executive presentations.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams focused on improving finance function performance and driving operational efficiency.
• Assess current-state finance organizations, processes, systems, and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement future-state finance operating models, organizational structures, and transformation initiatives.
• Lead initiatives involving finance process optimization, automation, digitization, and management reporting enhancement.
• Develop actionable transformation roadmaps, business cases, financial analyses, and implementation plans.
• Lead GBS, Shared Services, and BPO initiatives, including feasibility assessments and operating model design.
• Develop high-quality client deliverables and drive adoption of recommended solutions.
