Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Finance Transformation professional to advance our Power & Utilities industry practice. You will work with senior client leadership on sustainable finance initiatives, combining finance capability with program and change management to deliver high-value improvements.

You will design operating models, optimize FP&A, enable shared services, oversee procure-to-pay/record-to-report, and drive automation while engaging clients and guiding delivery timelines in a globally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
• 2–4 years relevant experience in consulting and power & utilities.
• Experience with P&U finance functions and applications such as SAP, Oracle, and Power Plan.
• Business case development.
• Digital strategy and finance compliance awareness.

• Financial close, consolidation and reporting
• Cost management and profitability analysis
• Procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes
• Asset and project accounting
• Know-how of utility billing to cash via CIS systems and GLs
• Understanding of power transmission/ distribution finance drivers
• FERC and GAAP reporting intersections
• Defining and executing key deliverables
• Managing project timelines and progress
• Engaging with clients and leading working sessions
• Travel 60-80% as needed to meet client needs
