Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. invites high-potential graduates to join the Financial Development Program (AFDP), a three-year rotation through business/line finance, commercial finance, corporate FP&A, and financial systems.

You’ll work with mentors and leadership to build skills in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across multiple finance functions. As an Associate Financial Analyst, you’ll develop annual budgets, perform variance analyses, learn the company’s financial systems, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Internship or work experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
Demonstrate leadership capability and initiative to learn new roles.

Responsibilities

Developing the annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and outlooks, and resource planning analysis.
Performing deep-dive variance analysis on spend areas with the accounting team.
Learning the underlying systems, tools, and reporting cadences used across the finance organization to support the business.
Providing timely financial reporting of monthly results and analysis of variances, drivers, metrics, and trends.
Developing new data, reports, models, and ad hoc analyses to support business needs.
Identifying process improvement opportunities and leading implementation with teams.
