Job summary

Akamai Technologies is seeking highly motivated graduates for the Akamai Financial Development Program (AFDP), a 3-year rotation across finance disciplines, with mentoring from leaders and structured Seminars designed to build business acumen and leadership. You will rotate through business/product line finance, sales finance, FP&A, and financial systems.

As an Associate Financial Analyst, you will develop budgets, forecasts, and analyses, while learning the tools and reporting cadences used

Qualifications

• Be graduating with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field between January - June 2027(preferred)
• Display excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have prior internship or work experience in financial analysis or a similar role
• Demonstrate leadership capability and initiative to learn new roles

Responsibilities

• Developing the annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and outlooks, and resource planning analysis
• Performing deep-dive variance analysis on spend areas, collaborating with our accounting team to ensure proper expense recognition
• Learning the underlying systems, tools, and reporting cadences used across the finance organization to support the business
• Providing timely financial reporting of monthly results and analysis of key variances, business drivers, metrics, and trends
• Developing new data, reports, models, and ad hoc analyses to support business needs
• Identifying process improvement opportunities, gaining support for changes, and leading implementation collaboratively with our teams
