Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking ambitious finance graduates to join the Financial Development Program (AFDP).

This 3-year rotation combines three one-year assignments with Akamai seminars and a structured curriculum to grow productivity, business acumen, and resourcefulness. As an Associate Financial Analyst, you will build budgets, forecasts, and analyses across finance specialties, while gaining exposure to reporting and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Internship or work experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Demonstrate leadership capability and initiative to learn new roles.

Responsibilities

• Developing the annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and outlooks, and resource planning analysis
• Performing deep-dive variance analysis on spend areas, collaborating with our accounting team to ensure proper expense recognition
• Learning the underlying systems, tools, and reporting cadences used across the finance organization to support the business
• Providing timely financial reporting of monthly results and analysis of key variances, business drivers, metrics, and trends
• Developing new data, reports, models, and ad hoc analyses to support business needs
• Identifying process improvement opportunities, gaining support for changes, and leading implementation collaboratively with our teams
