Job summary

As an Associate Financial Analyst, you will develop budgets, forecasts, and reporting, while learning Akamai systems and reporting cadences to drive insights and improve processes. Graduation in finance-related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be graduating with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field between January - June 2027 (preferred).
• Display excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have prior internship or work experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Demonstrate leadership capability and initiative to learn new roles.

Responsibilities

• Developing the annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and outlooks, and resource planning analysis
• Performing deep-dive variance analysis on spend areas, collaborating with our accounting team to ensure proper expense recognition
• Learning the underlying systems, tools, and reporting cadences used across the finance organization to support the business
• Providing timely financial reporting of monthly results and analysis of key variances, business drivers, metrics, and trends
• Developing new data, reports, models, and ad hoc analyses to support business needs
• Identifying process improvement opportunities, gaining support for changes, and leading implementation collaboratively with our teams
