Finance & Restructuring Litigation Associate Attorney position in Dallas with a leading AmLaw 100 firm. The role offers exposure to high-stakes financial disputes, involving commercial transactions, debt restructurings, and related litigation, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across offices.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of substantive litigation experience at a top firm, a Texas bar, and a JD from an ABA-accredited school.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Texas, in good standing.
• 3–5 years of substantive litigation experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or similarly sophisticated law firm preferred.
• Experience with financial services or restructuring-related litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of complex litigation, including drafting legal documents, conducting discovery and depositions, preparing for trial, and participating in motions practice.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, filings, client communications, and multiple competing priorities.
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and advocacy abilities, both written and oral.
• Proven capacity to work collaboratively across offices and disciplines in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in financial, commercial, and restructuring-related litigation in federal and state courts and arbitration forums.
• Manage complex litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through trial and post-trial proceedings.
• Develop and execute case strategies, including discovery planning and implementation.
• Draft, argue, and respond to motions, briefs, memoranda, and other substantive court filings.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft complex motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, client meetings, and trial proceedings.
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop and execute case strategy.
• Provide clients with timely, practical, and strategic advice on litigation and risk management.
• Contribute to a collaborative, team‑oriented culture focused on excellence and innovation.
