AmLaw 100 international law firm in Dallas is seeking a mid-level Finance & Restructuring Litigation Associate to join its team. The role focuses on high-stakes financial disputes, commercial transactions, and debt restructurings, with exposure to sophisticated matters.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of substantive litigation experience at a major firm, strong writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to manage all phases of complex litigation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Texas, in good standing.
• 3–5 years of substantive litigation experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or similarly sophisticated law firm.
• Experience with financial services or restructuring-related litigation.
• Ability to manage all phases of complex litigation, including drafting documents, discovery and depositions, trial prep, and motions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines, filings, client communications, and competing priorities.
• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and advocacy abilities, both written and oral.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across offices and disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in financial, commercial, and restructuring-related litigation in federal and state courts and arbitration forums.
• Manage complex litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through trial and post-trial proceedings.
• Develop and execute case strategies, including discovery planning and implementation.
• Draft, argue, and respond to motions, briefs, memoranda, and other substantive court filings.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft complex motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, client meetings, and trial proceedings.
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop and execute case strategy.
• Provide clients with timely, practical, and strategic advice on litigation and risk management.
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on excellence and innovation.
