Firefly Aerospace, Inc. in Texas is seeking an experienced Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis to support SEC reporting, technical accounting, and SOX compliance.

This role will lead multiple workstreams in a fast-paced public company environment, reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis. The ideal candidate combines deep technical accounting expertise with strong leadership, collaboration across functions, and the ability to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including public company exposure.
• Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP including ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
• Manage external auditors and coordination of financial reporting calendars.
• Develop and maintain ICFR/SOX controls and internal accounting policies.
• Provide variance analysis and financial commentary to leadership.
• Mentor and develop team members within the FP&A/accounting group.
