Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking an SEC Financial Reporting Manager to lead external financial reporting, including preparation of Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings. You will collaborate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Investor Relations, Tax, Legal, and segment Finance to produce timely, high‑quality disclosures.

The role requires deep U.S. GAAP and SEC expertise, SOX internal controls, and proactive process improvements.

Qualifications

• CPA with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting/finance experience, including SEC reporting.
• Experience preparing or reviewing Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with internal controls over financial reporting (SOX).
• Experience with Oracle Fusion and ERP reporting tools and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate the quarterly and annual SEC filings.
• Own the consolidation of financial information for SEC reporting.
• Prepare and review tie-outs, disclosure checklists, and supporting docs.
• Monitor and implement new U.S. GAAP, SEC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support materials for earnings releases and investor presentations.
• Research and document technical accounting matters.
