Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the integrity of financial reporting and internal controls across a multi-segment aviation business. You will partner with senior finance leaders to drive budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and investor communications.

The role requires active CPA, 8+ years in accounting/finance, and deep GAAP/SEC experience in a public company or audit setting. Raleigh-based, on-site with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA and knowledge of SEC reporting (10-Q/10-K) required.
• Experience with GAAP, SOX, and external audit processes.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage accounting teams.
• Experience in aviation or asset-intensive industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close across segments.
• Lead SEC reporting and technical accounting research.
• Coordinate audit activities with external auditors and resolve issues.
• Manage general ledger, payables, receivables, fixed assets, payroll and intercompany.
• Develop and document internal controls and SOX readiness.
• Partner with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting and board materials.
