Job summary

Publicis Groupe in the United States seeks a seasoned Manager for Financial Reporting and Controls to coordinate intercompany activity, supervise month-end close, and ensure GAAP compliance. You will manage audits, drive intercompany reconciliations, and mentor staff to improve processes across US Marketing Services.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, a accounting/finance degree (CPA preferred), and strong Excel/SAP skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA preferred.
7–10 years of relevant work experience with preference for manufacturing and job costing.
2+ years of direct managerial experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of general accounting principles.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to supervise direct reports and work independently.

Responsibilities

Coordinate monthly intercompany activity and oversee month-end close.
Supervise GAAP/IFRS compliance and JANUS policies.
Lead journal entries and supporting documentation for close deadlines.
Review monthly financials and perform quarterly balance sheet analysis.
Lead external audits and internal control activities.
Oversee intercompany A/R and payables processing and reconciliations.
Identify process improvements and mentor staff within Financial Reporting and Controls.
