Job summary

Troutman Pepper seeks a Finance Manager to lead daily finance operations, deliver reporting and analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting across the firm. You will build tools and dashboards, mentor analysts, and ensure data integrity in collaboration with Accounting and IT.

The role emphasizes process improvements, financial planning cycles, and clear, actionable insights for senior leadership. Hybrid/remote-friendly environment with strong professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum eight (8) years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or related analytical roles, preferably in law firm or professional services.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience leading or supervising analysts or similar staff.
• Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, internal reporting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP/GL and time & billing systems; strong Excel skills; Power BI/Tableau.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting for the firm, practice groups, offices, and departments.
• Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses.
• Create dashboards and analytics for senior leadership and operational decision-making.
• Oversee daily finance team activities and staff development.
• Drive finance transformation, automation, and data quality improvements.
