Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Business Unit Finance Manager for the Polymer Center to lead financial analysis, forecasting and reporting. You will translate strategic goals into actionable plans and drive profitability and efficiency with cross-functional teams.

You will review results, support budget cycles and provide analytical insights for pricing, capital projects and market development initiatives across the Polymer Center network.

Qualifications

• 4 - 7 years of related financial experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of management, supervisory or lead experience.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance.
• Experience with Oracle accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to influence leadership and drive cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models to drive strategic decisions and provide analytics.
• Prepare schedules and ad-hoc analysis for monthly results and forecasts.
• Support profitability initiatives and develop metrics to ensure accountability.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting with timely data and accuracy.
• Review income statement and balance sheet trends to identify improvements.
• Evaluate capital projects for ROI against budgets.
• Support pricing and market development analyses.
