Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Business Unit Finance Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for Fort Wayne (and related markets). You will partner with General Managers and leaders to drive decision support and ensure financial rigor across budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

You will own budgeting, forecasts, long‑range planning, and reporting, while driving standardization of financial reporting and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience preferred.
• MBA, CPA or CFA preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with enterprise planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling to forecast impact of business decisions.
• Develop models to optimize outcomes and guide strategic decisions.
• Provide GMs with financial insights for profitable decisions.
• Drive budget, forecast, and long‑range planning for assigned markets.
• Own annual budgeting cycles and cadence of reviews.
• Ensure internal controls and timely reporting.
