Job summary

Republic Services in Allentown, PA is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Polymer Center to supervise sorting, grinding, washing and related production activities on a shift. You will lead Lead Operators, Operators, Forklift Operators, Sorters, Drivers and other crew to deliver safety, quality and efficiency.

You will partner with the Operations Manager and General Manager to meet budget and safety goals, drive a culture of engagement, and ensure adherence to all safety, regulatory and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Able to direct large staff.
• Process-oriented and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sorting, grinding, washing and other production activities on shift.
• Lead Operations staff to execute the production plan and meet targets.
• Partner with Maintenance to keep equipment safe and running; ensure safety standards.
• Support safety programs, regulatory compliance and quality specifications.
• Drive customer experience and operational efficiency; manage labor hours and costs.
