Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Human Resources Manager for the Polymer Center to partner with site leadership in shaping people strategies for a dynamic manufacturing facility.

You will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training, compliance, and workforce planning, while collaborating with Corporate HR and COEs to align with legal standards and company values.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/industrial HR experience preferred.
• Experience in startup environment with ambiguity and building structure.
• Translate operational priorities into people strategies to drive results.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement cultures.
• Data-driven decision-making using HR metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance to employees and management, including coaching on performance issues.
• Own onboarding experience and new-hire integration.
• Oversee HRIS data maintenance and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws; align with COEs.
• Coordinate recruitment, investigations, and offboarding with Corporate HR.
• Lead workplace investigations with Legal and HR partners to ensure fair outcomes.
• Identify learning needs and partner with Learning & Development on programs.
• Support succession planning and talent development; build internal pipelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
