Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Business Unit Finance Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for assigned markets. You will work closely with General Managers and leaders to drive decision support and ensure financial rigor across budgets and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities include building financial models, conducting analyses, and presenting insights to guide pricing, profitability, and market development projects.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance or Finance Business Partnering - preferred.
• MBA, CPA, or CFA - preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with enterprise planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads financial modeling and analysis to measure and forecast the impact of various business decisions and scenarios.
• Develops financial models to drive strategic decisions and identify opportunities to optimize outcomes.
• Provides General Managers with financial insights that enable profitable business decisions.
• Owns annual budgeting, forecasts and long-range planning for assigned markets.
• Drives improvement and standardisation of financial reporting to increase speed and accuracy.
