Job summary

Univeris, a Toronto-based leader in enterprise wealth management, seeks a Finance Intern to gain hands-on experience with NetSuite bookkeeping, AI-enabled workflows, and multi-currency accounting. You will interface with vendors and regional teams in Spanish and English, supporting tax compliance and close processes.

The role focuses on ERP and document control, with collaboration across finance operations, IT, and business stakeholders in a distributed, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Final-year or near completion accounting degree or master's degree.
• 2+ years experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounting operations.
• Mandatory bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Direct exposure to Oracle NetSuite ERP or similar cloud accounting systems.
• Strong MS Excel skills (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Experience applying AI tools for workflow automation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• NetSuite bookkeeping and general ledger tasks including AP/AR support.
• AI-driven workflow automation to extract receipts and build NetSuite/Excel models.
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations across multi-currency accounts.
• Regional tax filing support for invoices and compliance across Latin America and Spain.
• Bilingual vendor coordination and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain documentation and collaboration using BambooHR, Confluence, Slack, and Google.
