Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is helping a leading global data center operator hire for a 12–18 month Finance rotations program in Dallas, TX. You will rotate across Operations Finance, FP&A, Capital Markets, Treasury, and Capital Projects Finance, contributing to building scalable finance processes.

You will work on forecasting, cost analysis, data extraction from NetSuite/Procore, and reporting dashboards with Excel and Power BI, while using AI tools to streamline analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis for cost centers, sites, functions, or projects.
• Support month-end close: accruals, reclasses, reconciliations, and source-based verification.
• Extract and reconcile data across NetSuite, Procore, and other systems; build data pipelines.
• Create and maintain dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and FP&A tools; flag trends and anomalies.
• Leverage AI tools to summarize contracts/reports and verify numbers against sources.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading global data center operator supporting mission-critical infrastructure for enterprise, cloud, and hybrid computing environments. As a rapidly scaling business, they're building out their finance capabilities to support aggressive growth and complex capital projects across their development and construction pipeline.

You will complete a series of 12-18 month rotations across Finance functions: Operations Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Capital Markets, Treasury, Capital Projects Finance, and Supply Chain Finance. You're not inheriting a steady-state process - you will help build and improve functions and workflows as the program launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly forecasts, budget input, and variance analysis for cost centers, sites, functions, or projects, and document the story behind the numbers
• Support month-end close: accrual schedules, reclasses, account reconciliations, and tracing every figure back to source
• Pull, clean, and reconcile data across NetSuite, Procore, and other systems - build the queries and confidence to own your data pipeline
• Build and maintain recurring reporting and dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and the company's FP&A tool; flag cost trends and anomalies rather than waiting to be asked
• Use AI tools (Claude, Copilot) to summarize contracts and reports, extract data from unstructured documents, and draft analysis - and verify every number against source before it circulates
• Identify and document manual finance processes that can be automated, and build the improvements where you're able
• Track and forecast Opex and CapEx spend across operational and capital budgets; model long-term cash flow under NNN and Modified Gross lease structures
• Support covenant calculations, lender and investor reporting packages, and draw requests and funding schedules
• Maintain project cost reports, commitment vs. actual tracking, change order logs, and cost-to-complete analysis for capital projects
• Analyze vendor pricing, service contracts, and long-lead equipment commitments; prepare spend analytics by category, supplier, and campus
• Support board, investor, and joint venture reporting; ad hoc analysis as assigned

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field (completed by program start)
• 0-2 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or comparable analytical roles (relevant internship or co‑op counts)
• Ability to build multi-tab analysis from raw data: lookups, pivot tables, conditional logic, without add-ins (tested during interviews)
• Ability to explain a variance in three sentences to someone outside Finance - strong written communication
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada
• Able to work on-site full-time at the assigned location

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience using an AI assistant (Claude, Copilot) on real analytical work
• Exposure to NetSuite, Procore, Power BI, or enterprise FP&A / EPM tools
