Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Finance Analyst Intern to support project accounting and finance tasks across diverse U.S. sites. You’ll participate in cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, human capital management and compliance as part of an evolving project team.

This internship includes helping with month-end close and assembling a financial reporting package for project management, with relocation to project locations as needed across the country.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (min 3.0 GPA).
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country for this internship.
• Working knowledge of Excel; Pivot Tables and V-Lookups preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and cost control processes.
• Assist in month-end close and prepare a financial reporting package for project management.
• Learn and apply internal controls around purchasing, invoicing, and billing workflows.
• Collaborate with Operations to understand project cost and revenue reporting.
