Kiewit is seeking a Finance Analyst Internship to support project accounting and finance functions. Interns participate in cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance, contributing to month-end close and a financial reporting package for project management.

The role may involve travel and relocation to various sites across the United States. Located across the United States, this internship requires relocation anywhere in the country.

Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and/or equivalent degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country for this internship.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups is preferred.
• Effective communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to recognize discrepancies.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supports project accounting and finance related functions.
• Participates in month-end close and prepares financial reporting packages for project management.
• Assists with cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance processes.
• Learns and uses tools related to labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts costs and revenues.
• Relocates as needed to sites across the United States and Canada to support projects.
