Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Finance Analyst Internship to support project accounting and finance functions. You will assist with cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and the month-end close, helping prepare financial reports for project management across the United States.

The role requires relocation flexibility, strong Excel skills, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced construction environment. Base compensation ranges from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, with full benefits for staff.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 or above.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country for this internship.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups is preferred.
• Effective communication and strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve.
• Must be able to access all parts of a construction site.
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Understands payroll and HR workflow and HR systems.
• Maintains purchasing workflow internal controls and invoicing processes.
• Troubleshoots accounts payable issues and payment workflows.
• Supports cost reporting and client billing processes to aid cash flow.
• Reviews cost reports, forecasts, and budget issues for accuracy.
• Maintains organized work environment and communicates clearly.
• Supports compliance with corporate policies and labor laws.
