Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Finance Analyst Intern to support accounting and financial functions on a project basis. You will help with cost control, payroll, payables/receivables, and month-end close while gaining hands-on experience across labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts. Willingness to relocate anywhere in the U.S.

is required. The role offers exposure to project finance in a dynamic environment with the potential for learning across districts and a path toward full-time opportunities

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and/or equivalent degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country for this internship.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups preferred.
• Must be able to access all parts of a construction site.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work without sponsorship now and in future.

Responsibilities

• Supports payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and cost control tasks.
• Assists with month-end close and preparing financial reporting for project management.
• Learns cost and revenue components for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts.
• Maintains purchasing workflow internal controls.
• Assists with intercompany and client billing workflows and documentation.
