Job summary

Kiewit Corporation is seeking a Finance Analyst Intern to support accounting and finance functions on a project basis. The role involves cost control, payroll, AP/AR, and reporting for project management, with relocation across the U.S. for internship assignments.

This internship offers exposure to month-end close, internal controls, and compliance within a large construction/engineering environment. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, have a minimum GPA of 3.0,

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and/or equivalent degree.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
Ability to relocate for this internship.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Experience with Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and other key Excel functions is preferred.
Effective communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Support project accounting and finance related functions.
Assist with month end close out processes and financial reporting packages.
Contribute to cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and purchasing workflows.
Learn systems used for hiring, transferring, and paying employees.
Participate in internal controls and compliance activities.
