Job summary

Allen Chevrolet Cadillac in Monroe, MI is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance & Insurance department through the sales and financing process. You will work closely with the Business Manager, Sales team, lenders, and customers to ensure deals are processed accurately and documented properly.

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Manager with the day-to-day administrative functions of the Finance & Insurance department
• Assist with preparing and processing customer finance and sales documentation
• Review deal paperwork for accuracy, completeness, required signatures, and supporting documentation
• Assist with processing and tracking customer credit applications and financing documentation
• Communicate with customers to obtain required information and documentation needed to complete transactions
• Assist with submitting required information and documentation to lenders and financial institutions
• Track deal status, financing approvals, outstanding documentation, and funding requirements
• Follow up on missing or incomplete paperwork to help ensure deals are processed and funded in a timely manner
