Job summary

LeadCar Systems, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant at our Monroe dealership to support financial operations. You will process vendor invoices, manage accounts payable/receivable tasks, and aid in month-end close to keep accurate records.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with vendors, and collaboration with the finance team to ensure timely reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in accounting preferred or 5 year accounting work experience.
• Strong customer service principles and ability to build relationships.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; able to manage files and records.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for accuracy, post invoices daily, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Prepares monthly accounts payable check run checks.
• Maintains W-9 documentation for vendors and ensures compliance with tax reporting requirements; prepares 1099 forms at year-end.
• Prepares and distributes monthly accounts receivable statements; monitors balances and flags past-due accounts.
• Maintains records of Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificates; ensures compliance with tax regulations.
• Posts deals daily and assists with month-end reconciliations.
• Reconcile company VISA statements and assist with other duties as assigned.
