Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Finance ERP Senior Analyst in Columbus, OH. You will own the Finance ERP, drive system improvements, and partner with IT and finance to ensure accurate reporting and a strong close process.

You will design solutions for new accounting standards, maintain existing capabilities, and support statutory reporting, while collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, compliant results.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Understanding of intercompany and foreign currency accounting, preferably within a retail environment.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams.
• Ability to develop cross-functional relationships with technical partners in a non-hierarchical environment.
• Strong planning, project management, communication, and analytical skills; experience with agile development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing the Finance ERP close process, including executing core responsibilities and supporting timely close activities.
• Partnering with IT to enhance and maintain Finance ERP, including accuracy of general ledger module for reliable financial reporting.
• Serving as product owner of the Finance ERP application, translating initiatives into scalable accounting solutions.
• Shape the future-state design of PeopleSoft Finance and future systems, delivering enhancements in an agile environment.
• Collaborating with technical teams to perform ad-hoc analysis, resolve issues, and troubleshoot finance errors.
• Representing accounting systems in new initiatives by assessing impacts and influencing design decisions.
• Maintaining internal controls for accurate financial close and reporting in a growing business.
• Developing deep end-to-end knowledge to support evolving business models and strategic transformations.
