Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. in Columbus, Ohio seeks a Financial Analyst to own external reporting and selected technical accounting activities, partnering with Investor Relations, Legal and executives in a fast-paced public-company environment.

You will lead SEC filings such as 10-K/10-Q/8-K, earnings materials and investor presentations; manage stock-based compensation under ASC 718, calculate EPS, and analyze financial statement fluctuations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA license strongly preferred.
• 4+ years in accounting or auditing, including public-company external reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; SEC reporting and SOX familiarity.
• Ability to manage workstreams, exercise judgment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced Excel; Workiva or similar reporting tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own sections of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and related SEC filings.
• Lead preparation of schedules for quarterly earnings and investor materials.
• Own accounting for stock-based compensation under ASC 718.
• Prepare basic/diluted EPS calculations and related disclosures ASC 260.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and report findings.
• Research complex accounting matters; write technical memos and practical actions.
• Monitor new FASB/SEC guidance and support implementation.
• Coordinate with Finance, IR, Legal, HR and other partners for disclosures.
• Serve as liaison during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Maintain and improve SOX/disclosure controls; streamline reporting.
• Coach junior staff and oversee quality and deadlines.
• Lead ad hoc reporting, benchmarking and special projects for execs.
