Job summary

Ever in San Diego, CA, seeks a Finance Director to own the F&I vertical across sites, shaping lender strategy, product portfolio, menus, compensation design, and compliance frameworks. You will lead the Finance Managers, review deals, coach teams, and close gaps between ideal F&I practices and on-the-ground execution.

You will drive end-to-end F&I performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and standardize processes to improve funding speed and contract accuracy across locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in automotive F&I leadership with track record of growing back-end gross and margins.
• Proven ability to lead F&I managers or regional leaders across multiple sites.
• Deep knowledge of lender programs, reserve structures, and protection product economics.
• Solid understanding of the regulatory framework: TILA, ECOA, adverse action, state rules.

Responsibilities

• Own back-end gross performance and product penetration strategies.
• Manage lender panel, buy rates, reserve structures, and program terms.
• Define and price the protection product lineup to balance value and margin.
• Create a single menu and presentation standard used at all sites.
• Build and maintain F&I compliance framework and training programs.
• Own contract accuracy, time to funding, and reduce in-transit deals.
• Provide leadership reporting on site, manager, and product performance.
